Octavia rubber mats

Went and shook out my drivers side rubber mat and it spit from the accelerator pedal down to the middle. It was'nt a mad shake as it was only grit that was on it.Thought it is a fault and Skoda said never come accross it so no under warranty.Asked how much new one and replied £90 .Our local Lidle store happened to be selling rubber mats which supposed to be for several brands Octy included, by the way quality was as good as the Skoda ones,unfortunatly whilst they had the cut out lines for Skoda they did not fit my A5.I ended up glueing it together.Has anybody had this happen?.
