will deff try butts, cheers pinksud.

tried dwnloadin there brochure thing bout the felicia but my comps crap.and wudnt let it work.

was thinkin some mintex pads might do the trick on the ol brakin? but any conversions that might work too?

First thing is to make all the brakes you've got work as efficiently as possible - no siezures (the caliper cage pins can sieze up), no leaks and yes, good pads/shoes.

I'm sure Pinkskud can tell you about brakes if he looks in again - there are plenty of threads on here about them too.

coolio, il have a float round the threads. the spark plugs on the felly..r they special ones on the mpi? i was told the platinum tipped or summit?

i'm using "zero sixty" grooved discs, with EBC green stuff pads. that combo will stop a 1.3 in no time.

but,,,, the 1.6 being made of iron and stuff, means i will be changing to a 280mm set-up with maybe willwood 4pot's. like toms project car.

The power in a 1.3 is between 3500rpm & 4500rpm, keep it around there when accelerating and your be on a winner.

If yours is a SPI - get some new leads, plugs, distributor cap, and rotar arm. Your feel the difference.

I have no problem - but I have a 1.6, keep it serviced and it will go dead quick!

no its the mpi 1.3, i know it needs new plugs for a ded cert.

What makes you think that the Polo actually was a 1.0l, just because it has a 1.0l badge on it?

One of my mates rebadged an Escort 1.6 Sport as a 1.1l back in the day. Another one was running a 1.3 that he'd re-engined with a tuned 1.6.

  • Author

because wen i went to the cruise thing i got talkin to him n he shown me it was a 1.0ltr

Ok.

  • Author

ye , was like mines a 1.3 lol. il get ya next time. then the ol, " its a skoda" remarks came flyin in

Dont rise to them mate.

I used to and now i just let them fly-by.....................................and then catch them up, it annoys the crap out of them!

lol class man. if onli i can do that.lol

im getting in touch with pipeworx about an exhaustr as i checked the janspeed site out but cud find nothin. i knows they take older cars of there lists as the later ones come out.was told pipeworx could do a system. just need that extra bit a power. an a bit a grunt like.

The 1.3 MPI will be the same power wise (as I said about rev in post above). Definitley change your plugs, and the oil and filter won't harm.

Show em what your made of!
