so there percy is.. what do ya thinks? next up- backbox, mk2 bumpers, milotec grill , clear rear lenses , roof spolier maybe.:thumbup:;)

I must admit... i think that looks pretty cool!!

Would look great with the little sideskirt trims round the bottom of the car too.

Think you can get them from a czech site somewhere....

ye was lookin at some from ellri, was also thinkin of fabricatin me own, chers for the comment tho.

Im sorry but i dont approve of the idea of the red mud-flaps lol..

Im not a great fan of those big coloured mudflaps that stick out and almost touch the floor... i much prefer the OEM look... just some standard mudflaps that mould to the body... but hey... it might look quite good saying that.

But ellri was the site i was thinking of... i was thinking of buying the clear headlight covers from them.

ye same here, but cause im useless i cudnt figuire out a price in english like.think the clears would look really good. thinkin of next year doin the lombard in the felly here.

I emailed them and they gave me a price in euros which was easy enough to convert to pounds... just not sure weather to buy them yet.

Your doing the what in your felly nect year??? lol

  • Author

lombard rally, just a bit a fun an well my entry into rallying.lol. what was the price in euros, i emailed them n they didnt get back to me. gutted!

They gave me price for the clear indicator covers too and shipping to the uk:

0332..............................................39,50,- EUR (Headlight covers)

0360..............................................17,90,- EUR (Indicator covers)

Handling charges to UK...................35,80,- EUR

Total price in invoice........................96,80,- EUR

Was thinking they would look good with HID installed and some silvatech indicator bulbs in.

  • Author

silvatech? u mean like a hid conversion?

Leave it as it is, without the rear spoiler.

Also, get them back seats out, and the carpet...

Make it go quicker!

  • Author

without the spoiler? u reckon?

No a HID conversion and then some silvatec indicator bulbs...

They look silver but shine amber!

Silvatec Bulbs

aaa nice nice. sounds like it wud look ace. tough job to do u think?

Dont do the clear rear lens thing, ive seen them on a felly before and in my opinion they look cheap and tacky

  • Author

was thinkin a floggn them neway, they just been sittin there n aint had the urge t hurry up an do them.

No... the toughest part would be to cut a whole in each of the screw on covers on the headlights in order for the wires to the bulbs from the ballasts to go through.

So basically the ballasts plug into the wires going to the original bulbs and then they plug into the new HID bulbs.

Would then need to put some sealant round in the hole to make it waterproof.

Yeah no spoiler, keep it simple from the outside, and stripped insode, but a hellish tuned motor....!

Thats my idea anyway...its your car!

Dont do the clear rear lens thing, ive seen them on a felly before and in my opinion they look cheap and tacky

Agree with you 1000000% there... i hate clear lights... ive also seen colour coded lights and they looked naff too.

I like the standard rear lights... think they look nice with the black strip that matches the black strip across the boot.

sounds like a good plan. iim after some a them blue xenon bulbs to replace the artic whites i got in but they dnt seem t b much diffrent, an i gota ge round t poutiin the original sidelight bulbs in, the police dnt seem to like green ones

  • Author

i was gona spray that black stripe the atlantic green the car is

Id leave it stock standard on the outside.

My mate prepped my old felicia up for the Lombard Revival.....trust me....you are a long way off mate! (No offence, but its not a run in some woods!)

If you need any advice if your going down that route let me know...

  • Author

im goin down that route deff with it so any advice wud b much appreciated

Right get it lightened, ie take the carpet out, then take the sound deadening out, put the carpet back in.

Put fuel and brake lines inside, and get a tank and sump guard sorted....

Suspension? Seats? cage? etc etc!!......

I could go on, but ill find some regulations somewhere for you to look at...

The Endurance Rally Association - Home

Thats the main website, try looking for regulations, there not car specific, but if you get stuck, give me a shout.

ye i got all that printed off, im part of a service crew for me mates rally team, he used to rally a felly so gettin most a me bits from him like, but he sold the car off for parts , so cant get me hands on all the bits.
