Felicia/Favorit mileage record

Featured Replies

How many miles currently on your clock, or have been on a clock before you got the car scrapped?

Favorit 94 1.3 SPI, currently indicating 111,004 but the clock sticks and on some 218 mile trips hasn't budged at all so it's done many more in reality. I suspect it to be closer to 115,000. 1 new clutch, original engine and box.

is this the idea for a new thread you just had?????????

all mine have blown or flipped well before the miles should have ground them out.

Yep, sorry there's no prize available for the winner :D

Im only at 65,000.... got a bit to go yet.....

:)Mate of mine has a 1995 GLXiE hatch with 165,000 miles on original engine and box, and 1 new clutch. Not as impressive as the guy on the other thread with 192,000 miles though.

72k probably original clutch, no miles in the past 19 days :(

I seem to have a similar effect on cars to pinkskud!

My own Felicia 1998 has just passed 50 K and in Sweden that's low mileage! I checked the most popular Swedish second hand car website and found 50 Felicia/Forman that had passed 100 K, 10 that had passed 150. Says something about prices on second hand cars in Sweden as well: what about a Felly diesel 1999 with 155K on the clock for £1,800? From the pictures it looks extremely well kept, but still...

Shipping your own cars here might not be a good idea, though - demand for right hand steering is limited :D

you need to walk down the shops instead of driving! hehe.

73k miles and counting,

battery is recharged and i gave it a longer run today so it should be running fine now.

Pinky had about 143k miles on when I sold her to agmorley nearly a year ago.

I guess he has added a few more since!

143,578 to Date...............142600 when purchaced ( approx )

Mine is 1.9D 192000 miles on her (felicia) 2nd cluch, first engine, and all i have repaced is the coolant/water pump, and the sump (due to accident) am i holding the record now?? oh and a new battery, but its as good as the day it was bought!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some brilliant mileages on here! Our Favorit was excellent - 141K on original engine, clutch and gearbox. It still went and was kept at the garage for my younger sister, but she decided to buy a fiesta! :(

My Felicia 1.6 currently has 93K on original engine and gearbox, but has had a replacement clutch - previous owner had worn it out!

134,500 miles on my late 2000 1.9D. Still original engine and gear box. Not burning any oil (touch wood). I change the oil and filter every 5,000 miles and always use VW Quantum semi-synthetic. The engine's just starting to loosen up nicely.

Approx 90,000 on 98 1.3MPI as had a new speedo head. Totally oil and water tight

Best i heard of was my father's friend who had a Triumph Acclaim with over 600,000 miles on it. This was back in early 90's which prompted me to buy one! Best car BL ever made or should i say honda!!

sorry back to skoda's

we've got a very low mileage then apparently...

just turned 77k original except for front disks/pads and cat back on the exhaust, front downpipe.

It has, however, done 46k in just under 3 years-none too shabby

you need to walk down the shops instead of driving! hehe.

I've got a pushbike, but that's nearly as knackered as Gnome (as I've decided to call my Felly - it's a large garden ornament atm ) and I'm nearly as knackered as my pushbike :(

It might catch on, you never know. I've seen so many Polish and Slovakian cars (the Slovak's seem to be bad drivers in my experience) I'd think I was in a foreign country.
