Maybe a stupid question but I tend to use somehting like Wynns, STP or Redex Deiesel Injector Cleaner in the Fabia every 10,000 miles or so. I've just dosed it and now have some spare so was contemplating bunging it in the Octavia. It notes it safe for catalyst equipped cars etc. but doesn't mention DPF's... anybody any idea of whether it'll be OK or will it cause problems with the DPF? (can't find the handbook to hand to check!)

Bad idea.

You have no idea how the stuff will react with the surface of the DPF and it could cause stuff to stick to the DPF.

Millers Powersport4 claims to be Cat and DPF safe. You could use a double dose of that. Whatever it is, if it doesn't say DPF safe then don't IMHO.

Also skoda do say don't too
