think i need new radiator?

Featured Replies

in the past 10 months i have needed to top up the coolant twice and now i have a leak which is leaving patches on the driveway. upon checking the radiator i noticed in the bottom right hand corner it is leaking it doesnt seem to be coming from any pipes and on that corner of the radiator it feels like there is a little split in it and it also feels very soft.

any advice on what i could do to fix it or does it sound like a new radiator is needed, how much is a new radiator?

The fan switches quite often leak and usually require a bit of tightening. This is at the opposite corner to what you describe, it is on the passenger or left hand side of the radiator.

Worth looking for a radiator specialist in your area - they'll be able to put a pressure test on see exactly where the leak is.

A radiator would cost about £60 from a motor factors. :)
