RNS510 vs. Skoda Sound System

Featured Replies

Hello,

please can anybody tell me if is possible to Enable combination Skoda Sound System with Trinax ?? When I connect Trinax into my Skoda (Scout MR2008), everything working fine but without sound. Looks that Soundsystem is missing some on/off command over CAN???

Also there is some problem with BT HF2.

Anybody know some VAG codes to be set ???????

THANKS in advance.

Best regards,

Pavel, Prague

Hi Pavel

It was rumoured that the MFD2 didn't work with the Skoda Soundsystem so it may folow that the Trinax is the same however I didn't get to try it.

Could you do an Autoscan if you have VAG-COM and attach it here for us to look at the coding you have.

Hello VRStu,

yes it's well known MFD2 vs. sounsystem, but if I remember some configs (probably L&K) was possible.

But it does not matter as RNS510 (Trinax) is something different. WV and Skoda (Skoda version is called Columbus) proposing this system together with Soundsystem so there must be some how-to. Unfortunatelly I'm not into VAG etc. I know some guys, they can do VAG but they haven't clue what to program..., so I'm looking for any advice or description what codes should be entered.

regards

Pavel

I know what it is - I have one. It is known as the Columbus but it is still a Trinax (It is displayed on my Maxidot when you start the car)

The reason I asked for your autoscan was to help you with the Coding.

Without knowing what coding you currently have I may not be able to help.

I can do coding, which will work with Skoda original Sound system.. I work in UK, but I am from Czech Republic and I know everything about it.. I installed on my car bluetooth HF, MFD2 etc... Vag-com is my hobby, if anybody needs help, please contact me on
