My local dealer contacted me and is offering Fabia at cost + £1. Hmmm..........

Its probably a good deal. If the dealer does not sell his quota then he will loose discounts etc. So they offer to sellcars off to the public at cheap rates.

We bought a Fabia at the end of September under the same deal.

The dealer showed us the retail price and then knocked off his margin (I think 8%).

They will still barter a better deal, we still got flaps, mats and Scotguard and roadtax thrown in. Should have had underseat storage, but still sorting that one!

I say go for the deal!!
