Anyway, need some answers...

Bought some Cupra bushes, but I need my car daily, and if I break anything, im fooked. Was looking at buying 2 spare consoles and fitting the new bushes into them first incase it all goes wrong. Can I just get a pair of consoles off any Fabia, or do they have to be from a vRS?

Want to upgrade to 312mm front brakes. Will they fit under vRS wheels? And apart from the discs and pads, what do I actually need? Are the calipers the same?

Am I right in saying a RARB will make the car tend to oversteer more when pushed hard?

The 312mm brakes WILL fit under the standard wheels :-)

Calipers are NOT the same.

I think you're right about the ARB - had mine fitted from Jabba and it does handle very well indeed now, along with the Eibach springs. I was hugely impressed with the difference!

If I recall what Lummox has written in the past, one of the consoles is different. To clear the 6 speed gearbox. So, no, you can't just use any ones.

312s will fit under the 16s.

I was under the impression you need a special tool that only skoda dealers have to fit the the cupra bushes. I may be wrong but iirc i seen it on another post.

The 312mm will fit as said, you will how ever need new calipers and carriers. Check out ebay or golfturbo.com Welcome Page!

I work in a main dealers (not Skoda) but plenty of tools to press in/out Cheers anyway though.
