Octavia Estate rear speaker upgrade guide

Featured Replies

I could have sworn I stumbled upon a nice document with step by step guide of how to remove side trim panels in Octavia Estate and replace speakers, but now that I have half of my Octavia in bits I can't find it anywhere (indexing in search is just awful, for any two words you type the search defaults to "OR" - you can type "aliens from planet Octavia attacked my school and ate my teacher" into search box and it will still produce 100's of "hits" on the subject).

Help. Does anyone have a linky to that guide?

I've got it in a pdf file but can't upload it to this post. Anybody know how to do it?

Ahhhh... this is exactly why I needed that pdf - vital element - the screw under load cover. That's why the whole lot wouldn't come off. I thank thee gentlemen for prompt help

Just noticed you have an L&K estate. Are the speakers you're removing the 'Sound System' speakers? Think they were standard in the L&K.

I would be willing to take them off your hands if they're still working. :D

The speakers I removed are "1 u 9 035 411a" 24016 - is that what you were after?

Make me an offer and they're yours. :)

Lads, what's the differance between the two types.

The L&K had the supposedly upgraded speakers, they are however only slightly better than the normal ones.

I'm not interested in spending money on aftermarket speakers, amps or headunits, been there in my youth!
