Removing Fabia headlamp protectors..

Featured Replies

I have standard Skoda dealer supplied & fitted 'made in Australia' (!) headlamp protectors on the Fabia.

I wanted to take them off to clean the headlamp glass behind as it looks a bit grubby but couldn't work it out - they appear firmly clipped on but cautious fiddling wouldn't yield any answer, instead looking like I'll break a clip or the protectors.

Didn't get any instructions about them, so anyone any pointers? Cheers.

If they are anything like the octy protectors then you can just pull the clip at the top and pull the protector off the light. Not much force needed at all.

Better way to do them is ease them out from the bottom two plastic pegs and lift upwards. Fitting is reverse or removal just be carefull when pushing the plastic tags under the headlamp.

Ive got the EGR ones which are effectivly the same, allways take em off and give them a clean up.
