Sent my Dragon box back...

Featured Replies

I'm taking Dragon Performance up on their offer and have returned my box - for them to up the power settings . The best bit is what they're charging me to do this - "post it back to us and we'll re program it for you - there's no charge this time."! Now that's what I call after sales care.

If anyone is wondering why I'm doing this, I'll quote from the sales literature taken from the Dragon website (when my 7 pin box was current): "These are micro-processor based digital tuning units, which enables us to modify the fuel settings for the individual engines requirements. We can, if requested, tailor the settings towards power, torque or economy. The general settings the units are dispatched with are the best overall compromise of the three criteria, based on our own testing and customers feedback to date."

While I was happy with the power increase, I was getting zero smoke even with the box on its highest setting so I recon the engine may cope with a little more fuel; time will tell.

I'll report my findings when I get the box back.

Cool.

I get smoke on setting 7, and a little on 6, have it on 6.
