Hey guys.

Just orderd an MDA Vario 3 (T-Mobile MDA Vario III - TrustedReviews) from cex (CeX.co.uk : We buy and sell Games, DVDs, PC Hardware & Software, Phones and Electronics online) as they were the cheapest i could find... £295 and are as good as new.

Should hopefully have it by tomorrow. Its a total N95 beater.

Has got built in GPS, 3.0 megapixel cam, HSPDA data (up to 3.6MBps), 256MB ram, micro sd (ordered a 6GB card too).

Has features like GPS tagging of pictures taken with the exact co-ordinates of where the pic was taken... will run TomTom.

Running windows mobile 6 (Officially!!!).

Have an old MDA Vario that its replacing... so if anyone is interested PM me... also have an Orange SPV M5000 advertised on here for sale unlocked:

Thanks

Phil

Looks a good piece of kit. I had the Orange M500 and then the M3100, both great devices.

Gone back to a proper mobile phone this time round (Nokia 6500 Slide) and bought a dell Axim X51 as a GPS and PDA.

Recieved this baby today! And very impressed.

Its a bit smaller than my old Vario.

The built in gps is pretty good... only took about 30 secs to acquire a signal for the first time.

Just been on the phone to T-Mobile and finally got HSDPA internet enabled after speaking to a woman before that had no idea what she was doing... then the second guy didn't understand what i was meaning... he only knew after seeing it in a list of things enabled/disabled on my account "you mean HSDPA??!" yes thats what i said at the start of the call.

Just installed a program called vtap (used on the iphone as the youtube program) so i can do exactly what (and more) the iphone can do!!!

Looks nice that Phil

Yeh its pretty cool... just been playing around with it.

Have enabled the camera option to tag photos with the GPS co-ordinates.

Have also installed my 6GB MicroSD card into the phone so plenty of room for things... and have also just recieved an ear bashing for spending so much on a phone from the other half.... but it was worth it! hehehe

Finally HSDPA is working properly... just ran a speed test...

1.82 megs a seconds down and 330 kb second up!

Thats actually faster than my home broadband is running at the moment... and thats supposed to be 8 meg!!!!

the M3100 is rubbish!

I'm about to receive my third in just under 9 months on warranty! :(

Ah... thats the one below this one.

Same as the t-mobile mda vario ii (2) or HTC TyTn.

Havn't really heard much about them.

I had a problem with my original MDA but that got replaced promptly and not had any other probs.

But 3 isn't too good! Maybe third time lucky?!
