RIP my lovely N95 8GB

Featured Replies

I am very sad to say that I have permenantly misplaced my N95 8GB :(

If anyone reading this happens to be in the Placerville, CA area has found my phone (and not given it to the proper lost and found area) and then logged on to this website I hope within the next week you are repeatedly raped by the spikey end of a pineapple.

Hopefully I am going to be able to source another one in the not so distant future, but for now I am in mourning for my beloved N95. I lie in bed thinking about your shiny black plastic cover, and sliding you open to reveal the most perfectly arrange key pad.*

RIP :(

*Yes I know I have lost my marbles, you don't have to tell me. I blame the hormones in the burgers.

:(

Sad.

I'm looking at them on the Nokia store. When you had it - was it worth the numbers (500) next to it?

Sorry to hear about the phone EE.

I hope whoever acquires the phone is pleasuring themselves using the vibrate function when then battery explodes.

You got insurace for the phone?

You got insurace for the phone?

Or travel insurance?

Or travel insurance?

Oh home contents insurance?

I have home contents insurance, and as far as I can work out my phone would only be covered in the event of a flood in my house.

I have travel insurance, but my phone isn't covered on that unless is was stolen along with my arm, or something along those lines.

The phone itself isn't insured. I am going to get another unlocked one for Christmas, fingers crossed.

no cover away from the home?

you should really pay the extra 5er a month or whatever it is, why not just say it was in the kitchen, someone must have come in while i was hoovering up stairs:eek:

The kitchen is upstairs. That way I would have to log a Police report and all that drama. I really cannot be bothered to pretend like that, and it is less effort to get a new one. With the £ to $ exchange rate it is quite a lot cheeper to get one in the USA anyway.

What I am more ****** off about is that some nasty little scroat has my phone. Since being in America I have run after a bloke who left his phone in a station waiting room to return it. I also found a solid sliver ring on the side of a electrocution chair in Ripley's belive it on not museam, again I gave it to the lady on reception. That's within the last week - and when I lose something someone doesn't hand it in?

I ******* hate America, and I would get on the next flight out of here naked if it meant getting away from this utter **** hole.

Emily, sorry to here about the phone, but if you can get the imei number (should be on the original box if you have it) then call your provider (orange etc.) bit difficult from the US, you N95 will become a nice doorstop.

I feel sad when i read this.

Would you like to hold mine for a minit or 2?

I'm pretty certain that it would still work in the US, iirc putting a lock on the phone or blacklisting it only works in the "host" country. Fiddle the insurance :D

Only works if in the UK (IEMI blocking when original SIM removed), and still has the UK SIM in it if abroad.

I assume your mobile number simply goes to voicemail as they've pulled the SIM.

If it was locked to a network, then they cant get it unlocked without contacting that network - so contact your network ASAP and also lodge with US and UK police.

If an unlocked model, then some scroat's enjoying your phone.

Emily, are you sure it was pick-pocketed from you? Many an N95 user has been pick-pocketed both here, and on hols. You should be covered on some insurance or other if that was the case

Kinky git ;)

Emily, have you had your number blocked yet?.. you could potentially have a rather large bill waiting for you if you havent.
