VRs front, shocking

Featured Replies

My 4.5year old Octy VRs estate has worn front shockmalabsorbing "capabilities" and at least 1 clattery strut top bearing; hardly surprising given its 98K miles of hard commuting from Dumfries to Edinburgh. Man, it jiggles! I want to replace these soon and wondered if anyone could recommend a suitable replacement, other than the std, for the money? Also, wouldst I be better replacing the rears at the same time?

Point of interest, recently replaced Octy as No.1 car with new SEAT Leon FR TDi. Its a flier and no mistake. The steering too, is a joy but the ride is a bit hard on the old teeth over the bumpy stuff.

A relative bargain though delivered at £16.5k. All thoughts considered!

No good advise from me - sorry, but the Leon will be better fun if you are coming up over the Beef Tub. Star Performance could probably make the Leon sparkle even more!
