When lowering 50-80mm do you need to upgrade to an "upside down" front Bar?

When i lowered my Mk4 Golf i had to upgrade as the standard ARB cought off the drvieshaft and caused the driveshaft to collapse.

I had a look at a MK6/7 Polo today and it seems to be the same kind of set up at the front.

So do you need to upgrade when slamming a Fabia?

I had a whiteline one on my golf it was required as the driveshaft cought.
