'scuse my ignorance...

got no reverse lights and the consensus from other posts seems to be check said switch but i dont know what i'm looking for, or even where to start in first place.

i have had a look round the forum - there seem to be alot of similar posts but relating to the octavia and links to vw sites.

just need someone to point me in the right direction.

it's by the gearbox, there's a pic of it on one of devonutopia's recent threads about his gearbox/clutch

Its on the front of the gearbox. Accessible from underneath (just changed the one on my Mothers car)

Check the cabling before buying a switch- it broke on my Audi A3 very near the plug.
