On xmas day I had to defrost the car, and put in some warm screen wash into the washer bottle to stop it freezing, as I don't fancy changing fuses every so often.

Is the water bottle not heated or is that just the jets?

Neither are heated on the UK Fabias, although I wonder how easy it is to retrofit the heated washer jets from a European car....

I do not know where to find or source just now, but I used to have a moded water hose that had the washer line fed into and out of the rad hose between thermostat and engine block

constant hot wash available

I suppose a copper coil around exhaust using home radiator mini copper pipe would be just as good

There again I used to have a Lada that had a home kitchen stop tap to turn the heating on :-) OEM

I've had the same thing happen to my car since Monday.

When i pull the wiper stick towards me i cant get any screenwash at all. All that happens is that the rear wiper turns on. :thumbdwn:

I take it replacing the fuses will sort it?

I think i will buy some proper screen wash and keep it concentrated and topped up over the next few weeks, cuz its very very cold and i cant see though my windscreen

Mine's just done it too!!

Screenwash low warning came on - even though I'd just filled it up!

Then, the front wipers stopped working altogether - but the rear one comes on if I pull the switch towards me to operate the front washer!!

Time to hunt out the offending fuse I think!!!

Got the exact same problem, too dark to fix and hoping it doesn't rain tomorrow so i can get it to Skoda. I changed Fuse 41, but alot of people are saying try 15. Hmm confused!

I have the same prob. rear wiper works when stalk pulled forwards. Front don't work at all. Fuse 41 ok. Took the above advice and checked fuse 15. Blown. Fuse changes and everything ok. Many thanks

elo all i have the same problem as all of ya on my 1.4 petrol but have no solution i have checked all the fuses and there fine screenwash is fine and im lost for idea rear wiper works no washers wrok and my front wipers dont work any1 got any idea be very helpful cheers

Sounds silly but is the bonnett closed properley??
