Just picked up my VRS Finally. Very Happy with the way Skoda have cleaned it and got the interior looking great. They are great to drive. Its revs Just over 2000rpm in 6th gear at 70 is that right?

Sounds about right to me. What year is it? The really early ones had a different 6th ratio and so revved even lower than that but this was changed to aid acceleration in top gear.

That's right, if you've got one of the newer ones. I think the older ones actually revved at about 1900 rpm at 70, but they decided to revise the gear ratios because it wasn't sporty enough or something.

its an 05 plate so guess thats right That interior is going to get dirty :( have to keep on top cleaning that. Its got a performance exhaust so thats a bonus

To mod probably. But not yet. Ill wait till the warranty runs out first. Ive got a performance exhaust so thats a start save me £200.

im thinking now that it may be remapped. Its very quick. Any way to find out? Also where do i get scotchguard from i cant find it. And what is best to clean the seats.
