Just a quick question about an upgrade I have in mind

If I upgrade to mfd2 from the standard stereo, do the reversing sensors still work?

Usually a little picture of a car comes on the stereo display, just wondering if it still did with the mfd2

Yes they still work but you only get an audible warning, unfortunately you will lose the visual display with the MFD2 :thumbdwn: but frankly I dont miss it tbh as the extra functionality and benfits of the MFD2 far outweighs this minor irritation!.

The benefits vastly outweight the loss of the car graphic.

The PDC beep is from a speaker in the passenger B pillar, you also lose the music volume attenuation when you hit reverse but I raised the pitch and volume of the PDC beep itself with VAG-COM to make it easier to hear over the music

You also lose the climatronic graphics but TBH they are more of a distraction than a benefit.
