The unofficial Russian Volkswagen Technical Site below has original workshop manuals for the VAG range of cars. Unfortunately most but not all are in Russian! You will need to search through the archives (past years) to find what you want.

Hi all, I could also do with the manual as I have an 01 octavia vrs which had a coil go wrong 2 months ago and now a similar fault has acured again, If it is a coil I might do it my self.

These PDFs equate to 225MB in size! A bit on the large size for email! I used to have them on a website, but the site got shutdown because it generated too much traffic :-(

go to your local library and ask them to get a Haynes manual and add it to there stock of books, worked for me

Yep! And the puny service book is around £12 for a duplicate! Work that one out!
