Has anyone bought one of these?

Featured Replies

I bought one of these and there ok.

Didnt notice any difference from standard though.

Changed it for snob's sake with a 3" ABD racing one with a K&N filter

and still didnt notice any different.

but the actual fit was ok? nothing special needed?

Mike, a few of us fitted these a while ago and for the money you really cannot fault them, but you will need to replace the filter with a good quality Green or K&N one.

I got some from John at [email protected]

Not too sure if he is still trading, but try e-mailing him, mention Briskoda and they were cheaper than the one your looking at on flea-bay.

They fit straight on without a problem, I only changed to an ABD as I got a good deal from a person on here selling their octy vRS, or else I would still have it fitted.

Wayne Kerr is still running one.

Thanks Gerry :) It'll be getting replaced by an Apexi filter.

Also, if the pipe is decent, why do people pay all the extra money for an ABD one, when in essance it is the same thing?

The pipe is obviously a different quality metal to the ABD one, as is the filter, but goes the same route and ends up just under the battery.

I ran 238bhp (With a graph..LOL) at Marlins with one on, so they cannot be that bad.

There was a thread running a while ago titled:- EBAY CAI-OCTAVIA

LOL - tbh, I only want it so i can make my own pipe really!
