i have installed my pioneer deh-p40mp h/u,but when i switch the ignition off it reset the h/u settings,i believe it has something to do with the live cable,not really too sure about this though:confused:,any help??

You'll need to swap the switched live and permanent live over, IIRC that's yellow and red cables; I think there's bullet connectors on these wires on the harness supplied by pioneer so that you can easily swap em, if not you'll need to find some terminal block or similar.
