Footwell draught

Featured Replies

The passenger footwell of my wife's 1.6 FSI is very draughty even with all the ventilation controls turned off. It appears to be coming from under the dash as opposed to a door seal problem. Even with the air direction controller in the demist screen position it still blows air to the footwell? The air always seems colder on that side of the car as well. Any ideas?

Yes, take it to the dealer and ask them to take a look at it.

It's been known for the various blowers not to be wired up correctly.

Or ducting adrift :)
