Pretty stunning price too I think:eek::D

a 50" 1080p plasma for £3500 or a 42" 1080p LCD for £900 and the plasma sounds terrible value but the trouble is we had a demo in a local hi-fi place(not currys/dixons etc) and it was stunning so now its the target for the future :D

I luuuuurve my Kuro and wouldn’t swap it for any other telly on the market at the moment:thumbup::).

it was an awesome demo, the problem now is that telly is the standard by which i'm judging all other tellies - and ours just doesn't compare :( and as hard as it was to justify 3.5K, it's even harder to justify 3.5K when we've only had our current lcd (spit) a couple of months or so :o

Get a 42’’ for £1369, it still knocks the competition into a cocked hat. The 50’’ looks stunning too and isn’t that far off the quality of the 1080 version. I admit the extra pixels and lines are nice and the slightly better still contrast ratio is even more amazing, but I don’t think any of the Panasonic and Samsung plasma tellys are quite as good imho.

Oh well, I had better start saving for the new OLEDs and SEDs (if they ever happen) tellys……………..bummer:(
