Water under rear seats

Featured Replies

Hi,happy new year to all.

I noticed a bad smell:mad: in my estate the other day and got to investigate it this morning and I found water under the rear seats plus in the rear footwell just on one side (near side).

Will the door leak problem cause the water under the seat or could that be down to a possible leak from the wash wipe on the rear screen?

The wash wipe seems to work fine.

Any input welcome.

Thank you.

could be both the door carrier and the washer pipe leaking

the washer pipe could still be partially attached , hence why its still working

Smell - mine was due to leaking rear door carriers - cured and smell gone

Sorted the leak, ity was a connector in the wash wipe and was behind the trim which the rear seat belt feeds through,if you need to do yours it's quite simple just take your time.

I have the same trouble in the nearside well. No smell yet!

But - What are door carriers? Sorry to seem stupid, but I do practice.
