octy II 57 plate stalling at low speed / gear changes...

Featured Replies

Hi

is it my imagination or does the octy II stall at low speed when changing up/down from neutral if not revving the engine... I thought engine was sposed to be flexible and able to cope. My old ford focus could but may be its clutch was warn/higher

I tend to find it stalls when moving from neutral, ie when cruising not in gear, when slowing down in traffic, etc.. but still always still faster than walking speed

Diffciult to rev the engine while doing this?

Now tell me I'm missing the point or a bad driver - rather that than have a problem with the car

Thanks

does not happen with my octyII PD. in fact i never touch the accelerator pedal to pull in 1st or reverse even while going uphill.

it does stall occasionally when i try to get past a speed hump in 2nd.

it should never stall in neutral. something could be wrong.
