Hi and Maxi Dot

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am new to this forum and thinking of buying a new Fabia 3, I want to now what the difference is between Maxi Dot and the normal Trip Computer, also does anyone know if the sport model can be customised or is it a set model.

Thanks for your help

Richard

Hi

Regarding Maxi-dot: This is a more advanced version of the trip computer, it allows you to adjust different settings in the car without having to get the garage to do it. For example you can alter the locking modes so the car will lock in a different way if you want, you can also change the characteristics of the interior lights. Plus it looks a lot cooler than the standard trip computer and has analogue/manual fuel guage instead of the crappy digital one and also has a engine temp guage.

Yes the Sport is available to customise, I am ordering one soon with ESP, Maxi Dot, Cruise Control and underseat storage boxes. Although nobody is quite sure whether climate control is an option yet!

Regards,

Mark

Thanks for that Mark. According to the Skoda Website the sport is avalible with Climate Control

Thanks for that about the climate, I think the new Skoda website is having teething troubles!

What engine are you thinking of getting if you don't mind me asking?

Unfortunatley the Fabia II does not have most of those features, the Maxidot only has an MFD (Radio/MPG ETC/Temp), status notifications (handbrake on etc), a change of language, no settings to make adjustments to the car though, does look cool though

Thanks for this info. I know the VW golf maxidot display lets you play about with all the settings, but I wasn't sure what could be done with the Fabia.

One week to delivery of the new Fabia3 1.6.... black magic... lovely... Im looking forward to this... I will display my sticker, which I will buy... with pride.
