Had a strange problem with the stereo in my 07 Vrs this weekend. :(

I'd been out for a run with the stereo working as adverstised and, as usual, had turned the ignition off and left it switched on, when I left the car

Went to go out again later, fired her up, the display came on as normal but no sound from the speakers. Tried it in all modes (both CD's, aux, other radio channels), nothing. Switched the unit off and back on had no effect. Arrived at my destination, turned the ignition off and back on again and it started working again!

Any ideas? Does the unit have a mute facility?:confused:

Do you have the multi function steering wheel as this has a radio mute button on it? Could be the issue.....

Mine has done this a couple of times.

I had a sharp 'pop' then the sounds went.

Turning the ignition off and on fixed it.

I haven't had it happen again for a while.
