Does anyones VRS have a distinct whibe when doing say 30 in 3rd?

Mine has one and you can play it on the throttle...Ive been in two others, similar mileage etc, and neither do it....

Dont fancy it having knock on effects after the extended warranty runs out!

Iv noticed the same with mine, except its at 20-25 in 2nd and 3rd gears... TBH, i dont think its anything major, as i have heard of a few of these cars with similar problem, but allegedly, its normal...

My car whines in 2nd and 3rd.

Dealer said it was normal, i got a letter from SUK stating it was normal and if it got worse outside the warrenty period they would still take a warrenty claim into consideration.

It hasnt got worse int he last 27k miles so aint worried.

The box will be getting swapped soon enough anyhow..... LSD time

On a lighter note, The only whining i get comes from the passenger seat when i'm giving it "the beans"
