Hi All,

I have a 2002 Octavia 1.9TDI Estate - before which I owned a 2002 Fabia 1.9TDI - the arrival of kids has meant I need more space but I saw no reason to lower my standards;).

Found this site after days of frantically searching the web for anyone with a VAG car seeing problems with acceleration that disappears no matter how hard you press the throttle and then comes back to life after a reboot by switching the ignition off.

I've read through the thread on here and am comforted to see I am not on my own and now have some things to look out for.

I think power loss on TDIs can be down to a few different things, most of which are easy to fix. Sounds like you've already found a few things to try, so I hope you get it sorted soon!

Since I had the car, every time I drove it, it has had what my wife called a rattling from the doors. I always characterised it as a creak. As the car is otherwise so quiet (especially when on battery at slow speed) it was quite noticable. Hi. Had the car since May 25. Always been a knocking sound like metal on metal from the front suspension when driving over bumps in the road. It sounds a bit like an old worn shock absorber on a car from the past. The dealer identified and acknowledged the unusual sound but were unable to identify the cause. Hi guys. I tried to code lane assist for my 2019 SUPERB FL using Icar pro Vgate and car scanner pro. Lane assist is showing on dashboard and in the options but it doesn't work. The icon is yellow, car displays message that it is not currently available. What did I miss... A5 camera is 2Q0980653. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks! Maybe there is someone with Obd11 in Shrewsbury area wilkingvto help if car scanner can't perform this coding?
