Has anyone tried the latest vag com beta 711.whatever? ive notice its missing alot of options on the long coding, one being for removing alarm bleep which i had to do with 704 instead....

There shouldn't be options missing, but depending on the module and variant we deleted options which were not applicable. Could you give us more details (i.e. part number, current coding and which byte/bit) what you are missing?

basically without getting the laptop out and going out to the car, im missing the option of alarm bleep/flash via blip and/or lock. Also missing the leaving/coming home option and alot more in that section (off the top of my head) which 704 has and the beta doesnt.

Double checked with those cars I have handy (MY 2007 Octavia and MY 2008 Octavia) and both showed the data just fine...

Please ensure that you are using the latest Beta 711.1 with data version 20080108, there was indeed an issue with the earlier Beta 710/711.

my car was new May 2007 its a octy II 2.0 FSI Sport.

711.1 as mentioned above. dont kn ow about any of the other codes as im not a programmer.
