Bushes - again....

Featured Replies

Hi!

In the process of updating/renewing my suspension (Octavia 1,6i SLX - 2000 mod), I am also thinking about new bushes front and rear.

The "obvious" choice would probably be polybushes by Powerflex or SuperPro/SuperFlex.

BUT when I search this site for strings about bushes, I find that when it comes to Skoda Fabia MANY prefer Seat (Ibiza?) Cupra-bushes. But I have not found any strings about Ocavia and Seat bushes.

So my question is - Is there Seat bushes that will fit my Octavia, and that will be an improvement over the standard Octavia bushes? If there is, how will the Seat bushes compare to the mentioned polybushes?

Olit:)

I think generally the Seat bushes are more for the Fabia, although I may well be corrected.

I have Leon Cupra R sub-frame mounts on my Octy, I'm not totally convinced that there is any improvement, they're certainly no worse. I don't know of any others which will fit the Octy but would be interested to hear.

I got some SuperPro wishbone bushes from Jabba after hearing others positive comments about them on here.

And I have to agree with them, they've added some nice additional feedback through the steering wheel.

I've jusy ordered a set of front wishbone Powerflex from Awesome (great service from Sarah :) ) - I do struggle with the price of these bushes, but there is little to choose pricewise across all the alternatives.

Shame Deflex don't do them for VAG app's yet ..
