looking into either a octy vrs or a fab vrs. the suspension on the fab is a main problem i read. buy suspension a mean arb etc etc. how much is the worst case as in it needs replacing. any advice on buying a fab would be great.

front ARB can be a problem , but the car your buying may have already had it replaced , the plastic collars on the bar break allowing the bar to move in the bushes, new bar has metal collars

the other problem area is the console bushes which split , bit of a specialist job to replace , but parts are cheap, £7 per bush, a lot of the Fabia owners are replacing them with the Seat Cupra solid bushes , which do not split

so the console and the arb are the only front end related problems.
