i my girlfrends brother works at silverstone F1 track,and knows some guys ther who will make me a intercooler cheep if i give them sizes and and pics of what i want,i dont realy want 2 start taking my car apert 2 start meshering where i can have it,so i was wondering if any 1 had a intercooler thay know fits a fabia vrs that thay can do a quick sketch of and mesher and send me realy want a intercooler like the one on lukes from jabba sports,but im shour i can get one mad cheeper,lol

What's your plan for the intercooler pipework? IMO, that's the trickiest thing to get right. Needs to be neat, with efficient airflow.

I'd check out the fitting guide on the Forge website - see if you can get any ideas there.

lol new intercooler and pipes will sort the part of the problem,i know what your saying about the pipes but this guy will only make me the intercooler anyway so if i can get the plans for a intercooler that works he can coppey me it then its up 2 me 2 work out how 2 put it 2 gether lol.he said his boss is off work 4 the next month and he recons he can make one aday,when he isant bizzy,and he wants 100quid each,so if i get a **** hot plan for one i should be able to get about 15 intercoolers mad and thay will cost 120quid including p and p,if any 1 elss wants one.

Where are you going to mount the map sensor?

Also you will need a place to mount the axial thrust monitor, as this forms part of the standard intercooler

Why not add a fmic alongside the smic. That way you dont need to warry about the map sensor. Their was a link on TDIClub to a south africa sites ages ago were someone had a fmic fitted along with the stock smic to his mk4 polo.

that could work,just gotta work out how to do it lol.
