You need 2x cupra bushes (one for each side)

2x Front arm bushes

2x arb bushes. (be careful with these as they come in 3 different sizes, i know the vrs is 19mm but not sure about the 2.0l)

8 quid each for the cupra bushes, the arb bushes are 12 quid each and the Control arm bushes are 15 quid each

Fitting is about 2 hours labour + you will need and alignement afterwards

Does anyone know the SEAT part number for these Cupra Console bushes please :)

Cheers

So there are 6 bushes in the front alone? No wonder I'm confused!

Which set is it that helps handling when they've been upgraded to the cupra ones? I've got a new arb going in soon, should i upgrade the bushes even though the ARB will come with new ones?

Also which of the above are 'wishbone' bushes?

Thanks

Tim

Thats correct.

Its the console bushes that improve the handling when changed for the cupra items.

When swapping the arb is is a must to put new bushes, might as well for the cost of standard ones...... about 3 quid each iirc.

The wish bone bushes were discribed above as bottom arm bushes. these are not available from skoda as replacement parts. they will only supply them in anew arm which iirc is around 70 quid from the dealers.

Thats why i used the powerflex ones.

Thanks for clearing that up!

but when you say:

do you mean I should upgrade the brushes that come with the new arb or that the stock ones will be ok?

Blimey I am confused just reading this LOL, I think I will just do the cupra bushes, then sort all the ARB stuff later, I need to get my tracking done anyway, I have no idea what other bushes do what.

Thing is you have to unbolt the arb to do the console bushes so your doing the same job twice. Might as well do it whilst your there. I fitted Powerflex bushes to the arb on Xav's Fabia.

Why not standard bushes instead the powerflex ones? Are these better?
