Just been back on the dyno after having Jetex downpipe,sports cat and cat-back system fitted,well chuffed 228BHP up from 205BHP last time after remap.

It was about £700,(Had to hide receipt from SWMBO)but fitted easily,looks good sounds good(very slightly louder than standard),and like i say well chuffed with the results.

Was it on the same RR as you used before?

Yes,same rotatest machine which bolts to the hubs so gives very accurate readings,ie no tyre slippage on rollers etc.

Looks good, i wounder if the run i did with vag-com was a bit out on my blue flame. :rolleyes:

So the remap gave you 25bhp extra and the exhaust gave you 23bhp on top of that.

Wow is all i can say,i didn't realise a turbo back exhaust could give nearly as much as remap.

Neither did I,as I said before well chuffed with the results.

Would getting the map tweaked give you even better gains ?

not in my experience no as the exaust only lets the car breath a bit easier.
