Fabia II estate in Top Gear

Featured Replies

the newest edition of Top Gear came through my door yesterday.

In the "Drives" section, they have a short but very complimentary review of the Fabia 1.9 TDi Estate. They don't say what trim level it was.

I'll not copy out the whole review, but the summary at the end says:

"Any car, even a Ferrari, should e judged by its fitness for purpose. On that basis, the Fabia's not just a Skoda - it's a Triumph"

The car gets 16/20, which is a great score in that section.

sounds good. any chance of a scan of it for those that dont get the mag?

You could always make a point of going and buying the Mag if you want to read it, what with scanning it being a breach of copyright.

Most news agents etc stock it,

I thought you were alowed to scan no more than 5% so a wee fabia artile would be fine.

But I agree, stop being a tightwad and go out and buy it :D:rofl:

I'm not going to run the risk on copyright problems (either personally, or getting the forum into trouble) by copying out the article, or putting a scan up.

but there is a review of the 1.2 here:

Skoda Fabia Estate 1.2 1 - Top Gear

I reckon within a few days the article on the 1.9TDi form the mag will be somewhere on the website.

16/20, wow, never seen them give a Skoda that high a mark before, it must be good :)
