Hi all is it possible to change (read upgrade ) the main beam bulbs on my car or is everything sealed up and 'dealer only' tinkering allowed?

I ask as the dip beam is xenon but the main beam is conventional bulb. Fancied upgrading them.

You certainly can... it's a little more awkward in that you need to remove the headlight (but that's only 5 bolts) before you can remove the rear of the light. I would take care with high powered bulbs as the lense on the Octy xenon unit is plastic and can be discoloured if it gets too hot.

Always disconnect the battery before messing with xenons as they run at very high voltages.

Ok so maybe i'll try some bluer but not necessarily higher wattage ones then.
