Hello Skoda people,

I'm driving a Fabia Elegance purchased new 3 years ago. Over the last year we've had the car into the dealership 5 times (!) for the engine light coming on for no apparent reason. Despite exhaustive attempts, no one has been able to pinpoint the cause of the problem or give me a satisfactory explanation. This has caused me considerable stress, loss of personal time and aggravation. It has now happened again despite having a service just before Christmas. The car runs fine despite the light but I find it annoying and worrisome. I fret that one of these days it will leave me stranded. They've done extensive diagnostics with no satisfactory answer.

Now the steering column is starting to make a growling noise when I turn left or right. ???

I'm beginning to despair!

Any help or advice would be gratefully appreciated! Thank you!
