Hi guys,

Just bought a VAG COM USB KKL 409.1 lead and have been looking on the Ross Tech website for the software download.....Don't know if I have downloaded the correct one?

I have download this Ross-Tech: VAG-COM: Download old versions for obsolete interfaces

Modern serial interfaces download

Is this the right one for me? I am planning on purchasing the VAG-COM software licence but do not want to do this until I have the correct download?

Is it the MODERN SERIAL INTERFACE or TWIN USB download I need??

You'll want the Modern serial one.

You'll also need a USB driver for your cable (i.e. to emulate a serial device). This will of either came with your cable or its available to download on the net somewhere.

Forgot to say, that if you're going to buy VAG-COM, you may as well get the current release 7.04 (IIRC), however this will mean a new cable as well.

Hello, Recently bought a 176k mileage 2017 Superb for a run-around daily, around 2 months later came across an issue with very high oil consumption. It is almost like it is mysteriously vanishing, no leaks, absolutely zero smoke of any colour, and went through about 5 litres of oil in 2k miles. The people that i have been getting advice from made it very unclear what the issue could be. I was told it could be something silly or could be piston rings/turbo, and i doubt that the PCV and the crank

Hi guys, hoping someone could help with this. Bought a Kenwood DMX6523DABS (6.8 inch screen) for Carplay recently, and the correct cable harness to go with it will be arriving on Thursday, however I cannot find a fascia plate or dashboard fitting online that would fit this screen install. The screen came with a plastic bezel that covers the metal cage that locks it into place, but it still leaves the big gaps in the dashboard. Hi. Can someone send me an aliexpress/ Amazon link or OEM part number for the correct plastic door card trim fittings please? I broke a couple when fitting my speakers and there were enough left intact to put the door card back on but I’m planning on removing the door cards again for an upcoming project so it would be handy to have a few spare to replace the missing ones and just in case some more go. Thanks!
