Stumped at the first hurdle

Featured Replies

Hey guys, trying to fix my leaky rear door problems and I'm stuck at the very first challenge. I'm following the guide over on fabia-vrs.com: Fabia-vrs.com - Re-sealing Fabia Rear Ancillaries Carriers

But I can't get the bleeding window winders off! I'm pulling at 'em like the guide says, but no luck... and I don't wanna put to much pressure on them incase I break sumet! Any advise?

Cheers in advance,

~Orta

Squeeze the clip that sits between the door card and the window winder. Then pull the winder off

i would take it back to the dealer if i was you it's a common fault

Slide the collar to the side, and pull off.

I don't really wanna pay dealer prices for something I could possibly fix myself, besides my nearest Skoda dealer is an hour away and I've got no warranty.

Slide out the back bit as per picture, hope this helps

cheers for the pic, but I've done that already and still the damn handle won't come off. I've put as much pressure as I dare onto it...
