I wish to buy a USB VAG com cable to look up the fault code,can anybody recommend a cable to buy one that will do both new golf gti and fabia vrs.I have not the time at the moment to research a good source at the moment and dont want to buy the wrong thing.Any advise would be apreciated

The Fabia uses K line and from Ross Techs site it looks as though the Golf uses CAN, this USB cable will do both:

Ross-Tech: HEX-USB+CAN Interface

Just saw some on e-bay that read up good lol but only £4.99. Are these any good ?
