will an eaton m45 destroy my engine? its a 1.3 single point injection lump with low compression pistons. the m45 is dead cheap to get hold of as its fitted to the new mini and would make a nice cheap mod. if this is possible any idea what mods will need to be done to fit it, don't want to fork out a lot of cash for a management system so would rather do carbs if i can't use the old single point system. cheers chaps

Sorry about the delay; I went off to do some research on this before answering.

As long as you can remap the SPi EMS, and fit a suitable injector, that wpuld work in principle with an Eaton blower. You'd still be looking at a custom manifold and sorting a blower drive though.
