fabia wheels

Featured Replies

noob to skoda's so a couple of Q's

just bought a 1.4 fabia and wondering

what pcd are the wheels,

i will be lowering the car very quickly, (will get coilovers so can play with ride heights)whats a good size wheel to go for thinking 16's or 17's, its the wifes daily so must be perfectly driveable

also with being part of the VAG range does the fabia share the same chassis as any other car, mainly for suspention as the company i deal with dont list anything for the fabia,

also the brakes dont feel the best, i know its only a small motor and coming down from a V5 passat it will be different, but when i brake hard the car stops (not emergeny stop force but like you sometimes do when people pull out) BUT the brakes seem to let off a little, as if the ABS was kickin in.

any advice well appreciated

.sorry repost

Hello and welcome :D

In order:

wheels: 100x5. 16" or 17" will be fine. Personally I'd go for 17, maybe OCty vRS MkI

chassis: same as polo / ibiza. There are plenty of suspension kits around for the fabia, take a look at the site sponsors

brakes: fabia vRS may fit (with other chages - not sure). Are you sure the pads and disks are in good condition.

forgot to add, might be worth a brake fluid change

Hi and welcome.

Just be careful with the coil-overs, the ride although "adjustable" (usually from firm to loosening fillings) may not suit your wife's daily drive. What sort of roads do you usually drive on?

normal A and B roads mainly just to her part time work and nursary really,

looking at vrs wheels or audi compo wheels with a nice drop will look perfect,

so to the polo/ ibiza which year/ model am i looking at as i know i can get coilovers for them at stupid prices,

fingers crossed i can have this do by next wkend then yay, fit an alarm so i can get remote CL, and she'll be happy

i shall be selling my vrs wheels in the future
