Wondering if anyone has got VAG com on here and is based in west yorks.

I own a polo tdi gt 130bhp.

Have got exhaust emission light lit up on dash.

car ran out of warranty last week.

this lit lit up few weeks before and it was repaired under warranty and told a new glow plug was fitted.

car drives fine.

any ideas what this is and how i could sort it?

I have vag com and near wakefield, if you need your car scanning in return for some beer tokens

Away all week on "business" will be back week on monday.

Other than that could try dissconnecting the battery for about 10 mins then reconnecting :confused:

Turns up to a car wash 'deal' in a blacked out Merc GL500 with a briefcase of £50 notes chained to his wrist, insisting everyone calls him 'uncle Tony'.

Makes me laugh they had the cheek to ask a local gangster for plastic.

Anyway, back on topic, yeah I remember there was a thread showing all the VAG com equipped members. Must buy myself a dongle so I can do it too.

Last time I looked on eBay I was inundated with them and didn't know which one to get.

Dont get one from ebay they are rubbish, cant do everything the daddy orginal one can and will only work with version 409 ...... Get a proper one from ross tech website will the exchange rate is good
