A vw dub restorer next to my mate's garage is going to be having the mongrel for a couple of days. Have given him a budget and going to see how far that budget gets me (as opposed to saying "do all of this" and being surprised with a big bill) The aim is:

Re-fill roof aerial hole properly and respray

Respray front of vRS front bumper + fittings

Respray damaged area on bootlid, around old Skoda badge area

Repair scratch on back bumper

And then any general touching up / making good as seen fit, and within budget.

Hoping the mongrel comes out looking nice. Can't wait until the big mouthed vRS front bumper goes on, with cupra splitter.

Sure hope so. With my 15mm spacers they should be pushed out far enough to clear. I'm sure the wheel itself will clear, it's just the spokes.

If they don't clear I will simply sell them on again, probably with a set of new toyo t1-r tyres wrapped around them.
