I purchased a forge/samco T.I.P. from Awesome GTi and wouldn't think about a cheap couple as it could do more harm than good.

Do a search and your find lots of info.

Surely Silicon Hoses are silicon hoses?

Its Chinese so they have probably just copied the Samco ones and they are less than half the price!!

It depends on how well they are made

There are some very good looking brake discs on e-bay but they warp after a few months

I have had the Samco TIP and now the ABD TIP both of which are very good

Like I say some good some bad

I think discs are a little different to a pipe. The TIP doesn't really get put under that much stress, a 4 ply of any brand is going to be stronger than the oem tip anyhow.
