Standard vRS wheels satin black?

Featured Replies

Hi guys im new to the forum! ive had my fabia vRS (silver) 3-4 weeks now which i love!:)lol!

After seeing some pics on hear with the standard vRS wheel been powered coated or sprayed, its got me wanting mine done!lol! as it seem to be a cheaper option to change the look of the car while improving the looks!

My question is if i had my standard wheels in satin black, would it make my wheels look smaller while keeping the standard suspension?

PS ive used the seach for pics, thou i only seem to find ones where the car has lowered 30-40 mm which do look the part!

hi there mate it will ultimately look amazing on your car mate but it will mke them look smaller due to them matching the tyres more but if you go for anthracite tis would a better choice good luck mate dont pay more than 30 per wheel for satin colour if you wheels are in mint condition :)

Just had a look! Thanks for that, i am liking the anthracite wheels on the red vRS page5 plus them oct mk1 17's! Which i would love but my insurance prob wouldnt! lol!

Cheers! Matt

the thing is mate if you get the octavia wheels which are nice you can always tell your insurance they are standard skoda wheels so you did not know any difference did this with my old 172 and never had any problems when i made a claim lol

Never one to miss a photo opportunity :pimp:

On Eibachs -30mm. It looks lower at the fron in the first pic as the N/S rear was on a bump :D

Is that with the standard dampers? did your insurance go up? Not including your other mod ie re map!lol!

i am doing the standard dampers and eibach springs very soon!!!

would be intresting to see what the ride is like? Car does seem to sit well thou! where i am got all the pothole country lanes!lol! so maybe quite a bumpy ride?

i am the same mate worried about the ride quality but the eibachs are the best compromise for comfort and looks

fair point! you will have to let us know what its like when there on? Though i would prob compromise the comfort for the looks!lol!

Yes, standard dampers and from memory my insurance did not go up, if it did then it wasn't much.

Have told them, and have it in writing from them concerning all mods, in this day and age it's not worth not telling them.

Nothing to hide thanks :thumbup::)
