I sent them back to you

I can't get mine to pick up a gps signal at all so I've gone back to my garmin.

Make sure the GPS is turned on in options>tools>turn on/off GPS.

Do you have the latest firmware (if you unbranded your N95)? If not it takes about half an ice age to get a GPS lock :(

Other than that the software is pretty good, the sat imagery doesn't appear to work as yet. Good ol' Beta testing..................

Seems to be quite good!

are there any apps which allows you to see other info like your current speed/altitude etc? like GPS dash for the PDA

as said the first lock takes an age as do all new gps devices but also be aware that my first N95 worked perfectly but i broke it and on the replacement one the GPS would never get a lock at all so i returned it and got a anotehr replacement and that got a lock in 5 minutes :)

you may well have a faulty handset

i've used my N95 as sat nav all over the place including spain and its excellent, especially considering it free :D

Cheers Col, just loaded it on. Will give it a test later

I'm not going to bother getting a replacement as I'm due for an upgrade next month anyway. Be interesting to see what they offer me. If they offer me an iPhone, I'll be keeping the n95 and making £300 on eBay!!!
